Read the Classics: Interview With The Vampire

You people should know better than to only know the movie version. I know the movie's also great because it established Brad Pitt as a sex symbol alongside Tom Cruise as the villain. And a very young Kirsten Dunst. I love this movie. But the book's better.
This is the first book by Anne Rice, released in the '70's. It's also the first vampire book not about Dracula. All other vampire books before this one are all imitations of Dracula, one way or anothe. But this one dared to be different. We are introduced to vampires who like looking at crosses. These vampires ae still prone to sunlight. But then we see that they have a culture, and a community. They are many. And they are among us. If you're into horror and seduction, this is for you.

watching a book-based movie is quite lame if you've already read the book... you'll just be disappointed on how some story scenes got cut and the most movie scenes rearranged... but still people crave on harry potter...

i've already watched interview with the vampire and it's quite boring yet the story line is okay... why boring? cause vampire SUCKS!! eat that VAN!!

Sometimes it is better to read the story than to watch it because you can review the story again especially when you miss the other part of the story. I fond reading horror story except about Dracula because it has no effect to me because the commonly happened in the story was sucking and lying in the coffin.
