Stephen King's The Dark Tower Now a Comic Book

I know we've all read and cheered with Stephen King's Opus The Dark Tower series. All seven books are instant classics. There was a time when I really got scared that my favorite won't be able to finish this series in his lifetime. I'm so so glad he did.
And to top it all off, here comes the faithful adaptation to the adventures of the Gunslinger! Issue one is to be released on February 7. So reserve your copies now! It's sure to wow all Marvel Comics fans and newbies. So if I were you, grab one when it comes out. You won't be sorry.
For more information, visit www.marvel.com for more details.

I Crave for Crave: Calvin Klein's Classic Perfume

If you have ever taken a whiff of Calvin Klein's Crave Perfume, you know what I'm talking about. The scent takes you to memories of vacation, adventure, and fortune. There's a hint of citrus, plus ingredients that make it sporty. It's a man's ideal scent when he's on a holiday, and so should you.
Sad to say, its release was a one-time event. Now it's out of stock. So I'm asking everyone out there to write to www.calvinklein.com and tell them what we've all come to love inside our car's compartment. I'm holding onto my last few drops, and they smell awesome! If you find one, you're a very lucky dude. I congratulate you!

Thrill Ride: The Space Mountain Roller Coaster in HK Disney

Yes, it's one of those pesky roller coaster rides that we've all come to love, love and love. Everybody loves riding it. I bet you're also itching to ride this one.
What makes this terrifying unique? There are no loops. What's so special about that? Well, the thrill happens when you get into your seat. You realize that the whole ride happens in the dark. Did you hear it right? Yes. In. The. Dark.
That's why it's so scary! You know you're just going up and up. And when you think you begin your descent, wrong answer! You still go up. And when you think you're safe, that's when your world goes up, down, sideways, falling into the abyss of blackness!
Totally awesome. It's in Disneyland Hongkong. And don't forget to get your souvenir shot. (Yes, they take your picture in the dark. But the camera's got a flash, so no frets.) A shot is about fifteen Hongkong dollars. Cheap.

Pass by Repulse Bay!

If you're looking for a quiet beach in Hong Kong, have no fear. The beach is here!

After checking out the local renowned jewelry factories in the vicinity or already tired of spending on the fine craftsmanship of the Orient, go to Repulse Bay area in Hong Kong. And you thought you wouldn't find a beach in this area.

Take a dip. Relax. Bathe in the sun or in the warm waters. Note to readers: if winter hits, don't ask me if the water's cold. You get the idea.

Once there, you are surrounded by the slope of the mountainside. Acoomodation rates may vary, especially during the holidays! No need to worry: most of the folks there speak English. You can still hunt for great bargains. Grab your friends and go!

Take the Train Ride: The Peak Tram in HK!

If you love trains in general, there's no reason for you to miss this opportunity in Hong Kong. Go to the Peak Tram Terminus near Bank of China Tower and St. Jokn's Cathedral. You won't miss it. Every taxi driver there knows where it is.

Line up for a ticket, and up you go! The slope is a bit steep; some parts of it go about forty-five degrees. It's exciting to go up there. You see different views of the mountainside, with their condominiums and staircases of streets. The ride's a bit short but worth it. Once you get to the Peak, you see the breathtaking view of the whole of Hong Kong. It's especially beautiful at noghttime. Lights all around.

Atop the Peak you can choose between two malls on top of the mountain range. Dine, shop, and go to Madame Toussad's wax museum. It's fun, it's exciting. Enjoy your stay.

For more information, check out www.thepeak.com.hk. You'll love the view.

A warning: it gets a bit cold there during winter. Check out the weather first if it's rainy. If rainy or cloudy, don't go up. The fog ruins the view. Just a tip.

Read the Classics: Interview With The Vampire

You people should know better than to only know the movie version. I know the movie's also great because it established Brad Pitt as a sex symbol alongside Tom Cruise as the villain. And a very young Kirsten Dunst. I love this movie. But the book's better.
This is the first book by Anne Rice, released in the '70's. It's also the first vampire book not about Dracula. All other vampire books before this one are all imitations of Dracula, one way or anothe. But this one dared to be different. We are introduced to vampires who like looking at crosses. These vampires ae still prone to sunlight. But then we see that they have a culture, and a community. They are many. And they are among us. If you're into horror and seduction, this is for you.

The Damn Recommends: Hannibal Rising!

Ok. Some of you may not be familiar with the name. But borrow a dvd of the Silence of the Lambs and you will understand how the name Hannibal the Cannibal came about. The series spawned three books before this new one: Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs, and Hannibal. All three of these books have had movies. And they are really scary.
The book Hannibal Rising starts where the third book, Hannibal, left off. Ok, here's the tricky part. The ending of the book is different from the movie version. But don't worry. We'll only be concerned about the book ending. Clarice Starling, Hannibal's love, has been converted into a cannibal, eating brains now for dinne. Human brains I say to you. This is where you fans either hate or love this couple. Some of you may like them to stay together. Some of you may like them to kill each other off. This is where the story revolves. Clarice is a good person while Hannibal is a psychopath genius. Together they will rock you world!
No, really. Joking aside, the book starts as a prequel before the other book, Red Dragon. Here is a young Hannibal. His parents have just died. He's on the verge of a nervous breakdown. But don't forget that he's a genius. What happens when a genius is on the brink of a breakdown? You have to read it to believe it.
Buy the book now. It's a bestseller.

Welcome, Disney Hongkong

For people who love traveling and theme parks, this is for you! Blessed are the people of Hongkong for they now have their own Disneyland. That's right. It's there. It's right in the heart of Hongkong. To get there, just get into a subway station, or a bus that says Disney. This way saves you taxi money. A load of it.

Once you get there, you also get to choose how your ticket looks like. Yup! Choose among Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy and other cool characters. Upon entering the park, don't forget to get your site map. It's very near the entrance area and it's absolutely free!

Once inside, you hit first the Main Streets USA area. You can run along and get autographs from Mickey Mouse, Sleeping Beauty and everyone else you run into! Take pictures. Have fun. Or you can wait for the Grand Parade (check the sked, kids), and you can join Woody, Ariel and other characters we've all come to love.
