Zodiac Now In Theaters!

The Zodiac stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo based on the true story of the Zodiac serial killer from the 60's to the 70's. Based on the book by Robert Graysmith, it is director David Fincher's first venture into true crime, in contrast to his other films such as Se7en and the Fight Club.

God it was boring!

I'm a big fan of David Fincher, especially with his cult movies like The Game and Fight Club. But ever since he did The Panic Room, he became kind of different. A bit odd, though I'm still a big fan of Jodie Foster as well. The movie shows our three heroes involved in directly and indirectly pinpointing the real serial killer of such gruesome crimes. The killer, however, gets away at every turn, so it keeps the viewer guessing at every turn. The movie is 3 hours long, and very slow. I think it would have been better if it was edited to only 2 hours. Too slow, even for me.

If you're a big fan of David Fincher, this is for you. But if not, try to act a little less disappointed when you get up from your sleep, I mean your seat.
