The Damn Recommends: Jonathan Livingston Seagull!

This book was released in 1970, and now it's a guaranteed classic!

This book by acclaimed Richard Bach, is a sort of fable about, you guessed it right: seagulls! The hero, Jonathan, realizes that the life of seagulls is not just about eating. It's more of flying, and discovering new things to do in life! Sounds like a parable? Yes it is.

If you've enjoyed The Little Prince, this one is for you! Even Ray Bradbury enjoyed this story. And it may well change your life!

Oh, a note: the book's 99 pages only, with lots of inserts of pictures of naked... seagulls! What were you thinking?

Dragon Wars A Better Non-Hollywood Adventure!

The Dragon Wars movie is totally produced by a Korean company. Based on a legend of giant snakes, good and bad, fighting to become a celestial dragon every 500 years, has incredible effects. Although still not at par with other Hollywood biggies, it's a good alternative. Still, it casts virtually unknown Americans, the real stars are the giant snakes and hordes of winged lizards and virtual monsters.

It's surprisingly good, with humor injected into the movie, but the story's just shallow. Still, if you wanna just go wow for effects, this is the movie for you.

Still in selected theaters worldwide! Enjoy!

National Treasure 2 A Hit!

Yes! You can check the lines of droves going to theaters! And no one would disagree. It's better than the original, and till you see the ending. What is page 47 of the Book of Secrets? Well, that won't be revealed, 'cause there would another sequel. that's right! You heard it right here!

Well, part 2 is really big! How in the world would you find a hidden city of gold? That's the quest for this movie: finding it!

Just one question for those who have seen it: how did they prove their ancestor's innocence? I found that part a little too vague. But the stunts and the effects will keep you craving for more!

Bring popcorn!

"I Am Legend," Not Legendary

Yes, to all my fellow friends, happy new year! It's been a long vacation but I'm back!

Now, for starters, we're going to review the new Will Smith remake, I Am Legend.

Now, be honest, if you've seen it, did you like it? First of all, it's only an hour and a half. There's no story, except a man desperate for a companion. And he's completely alone. How boring is that? Very!

Next, there are vampires abound! Did the effects people for this movie suck, or were they doing it with their eyes closed! The vampires appear to be floating off the screen, as if they are not of the movie at all. They seem relatively flat. I've seen better.

Also, Will Smith in the movie eventually finds other people. And what does he do? He kills himself in the process of saving them. Why? Because he's depressed about the death of his dog. Actually, the dog, Samantha, is the best actress in this movie. Everything seems to be just there, without sanity nor reason.

Another is his companion being called by God? Whoa, your horses. Can't they make another story telling how she got the info regarding a village of people unaffected by the virus? Or maybe she's just lying! This loophole reeks as a result of the strike of the scriptwriters of America.

Ok, so you wanna watch it?

I thought so, too.

If you're dumb, go ahead. You'll like it: it''s basically mindless. Perfect for retards.

Oops! I saw it, too. Yuck.
